Competing on a Division III team at Averett gives you support and resources to achieve excellence on the field and off. Our belief in you and dedication to your academic success pay dividends. Averett Cougars are routinely selected for the USA South Conference All-Academic team.
Averett is investing significantly in our athletic facilities so our student-athletes can play and perform at their best. North Campus is home to a new, state-of-the-art stadium complex with football, soccer and lacrosse fields. Our softball and baseball fields are adjacent to the stadium and our new indoor batting center. The Grant Center, a 55,863-square-foot complex, features workout areas, a gymnasium, classrooms, offices and a top-notch athletic training center for our 300+ student-athletes.
