Requirements
Averett University is dedicated to making the admissions process as easy and simple as possible. You will find Averett University’s requirements for admission below!
- Averett University is completely test optional.We encourage you to send your SAT and ACT scores if you have them, but they are not required for your application.
- Averett University requires all official High School transcripts. We will accept unofficial transcripts under certain circumstances but Averett University will need the officials by the end of the term year.

Averett University GPA Requirements.
Incoming Averett students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to be considered for admissions. - Candidates should complete the following University preparatory coursework in grades 9-12: 4 units of English, 3 units of Math (at least Algebra I, II and Geometry), 3 units of Lab Science, and 3 units of History and Social Science. The remaining units for graduation may include other academic related courses such as foreign languages, business, religious study and coursework.
International students must undergo a credential evaluation to show they have met an equivalent performance standard. Visit the International Students page for more information and requirements.
