Will is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated in 2023 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Studies and a minor in Communication from Averett University. In addition to his studies, Will succeeded as a star student athlete with Averett Cougars Football and received multiple all-conference honors and National honors. He participated in Student Government and served as a Resident Assistant on campus. Will also had the honor of being a founding member of the Presidential Ambassador program. In his free time, he enjoys working with animals especially his dog and coaching youth sports from swimming to baseball and of course, football.

What is one interesting fact about you that people don’t know?
Dr. Frank’s Husband Joe Franks was my parents athletic trainer and my first ever career game here at Averett he was also my trainer.
What do you love most about AU?
Being able to spend time at the barn, in the classroom, and on the football field all while being a student was the best part of being here at AU.
What is one of your favorite things about Danville?
I love how involved Averett is in the community
