Kriston was raised in Caswell County, NC, and graduated from Averett University in 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. After graduating, she worked for many years as an Ophthalmic Assistant. Kriston made the switch to higher education in 2022 when she joined the Office of the Registrar, and now serves as an admissions counselor. Kriston enjoys cozy hobbies such as reading and crafting. She loves creating fun experiences and memories with her husband and daughter, and cuddling her shih tzu, Ramsey.
