Damion is originally from the West Coast but was raised in Germany. He attended Averett in 2014, initially drawn to the university because of the small class sizes and the cross country team. He stayed because of the community being built around him. Damion left to join the Virginia Army National Guard and went on tour overseas. Upon his return, he finished both his degrees in Business Management Science and Business Marketing. He’s a sergeant in the Virginia Army National Guard and works as a vertical engineer. In his free time, Damion enjoys challenging himself, whether it’s at work, playing a game of pickleball, or crafting things for his house and planting a garden. He is excited to be back at Averett, contributing to the community that shaped him.
