What one thing do students need to know about Averett?
That each and every student has the opportunity to become successful hence the possibilities are endless. You just have to get involved around campus and get exposed to different cultures. Averett changed my life with just giving me an opportunity, and this is the same opportunity I hope to give to many other students.
What do you love most about AU?
The thing I love most about AU is the family atmosphere and love that is displayed on campus. It is not just a saying that Averett is a family, but it is a way of life here. I also love that Averett seeks to shape your learning experiences and prepare you for the workplace and everyday life.
What was your favorite class at Averett?
My favorite class was Sport Law. I learned being a professional athlete isn’t all fun and games. I found it curious tht everything could be negotiated for a contract.
