Why did you choose AU?
I was looking for a small school and somewhere I could play football. Averett offered small class sizes and competitive athletics that met my needs.
What’s your favorite place in Danville?
I like the River District and all it offers. The restaurants, Riverwalk trail and scenic fountain are wonderful places to enjoy in the evening.
What one piece of advice do you have for a student choosing Averett?
If you are looking for hands-on experiences and people who care about you, Averett is the place for you. People who work every day with a “student first” attitude are what make Averett great.
